Music Reviews

Lately, I've been listening to a few new songs that I've been meaning to listen to, but never got the chance to. Anyway, I listened to One Thing (Acoustic), Gotta Be You, and What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction, Bubblegum Boy by Bella Thorne feat. Pia Mia, and Dig Down Deeper by Zendaya.
First, I'll start of by doing the more easier ones to explain/review. Hopefully I don't offend anyone. These are solely opinions based on my thoughts. Wait. That doesn't make sense. Um. These are my opinions? Right. They're my opinions, not influenced by anyone or anything. Anyway, back to my reviews.
So, first up is Bubblegum Boy by Bella Thorne feat. Pia Mia. I actually really like this song. The first time I heard the sneak peek I was like, wha? I'm still kinda thinking like that, because since I've only heard the song once, I wasn't able to tell who was who. But now that I listened to the whole song, I think it's really catchy, and it would be something fun to sing a long to. :) if I can get all the lyrics. Its kind of a fast-paced song. if that makes any sense. A fast song? Yeah.
Anyway, on to Dig Down Deeper by Zendaya Coleman. This song is going to be featured on a movie, called the Pixie Hollow Games. I think this song is pretty good, and the music video is interesting. Since I've only mainly heard Zendaya sing in Watch Me with Bella Thorne, I wasn't able to really tell what her real voice sounded like. But, after listening to this song, I found out. Her voice is actually really good, and she sounds very mature. Oh! I also listened to her song Swag It Out. It's a pretty good song, and personally, I love things that refer to other sings, so I really liked it when Zendaya made references to various music people.
Lastly, on to One Direction. When I first heard one of their songs (One Thing, Acoustic), they just made me smile. I don't know why, and shortly after, I felt the song made me go crazy, because I started to laugh at myself. O.o Anyway... *awkward*
I have to say, I actually really like their voices. One Thing is just such a sweet song, and I'd love it if any guy wrote that for me. Although, great and basically awesome guys are very hard to find in this world. Anyway, the song had good meaning in it. :)
On to their next song...On Gotta Be You, I also really like this song. Uh..who was it again? Oh yeah! Harry Styles. When he starts to go into the chorus part of the song, his voice gets pretty high...I mean, I like his voice and all, but it's interesting how high his voice goes. Anyway, also, the music video is pretty good too. I just have to say LOL because they did an epic walk together, all in one line. Kinda epic. Anyway, back to the topic of music videos.
I don't know if it's just me, but would anybody else feel like an idiot if they starred in their own music video and had to dance in front of a camera crew? With no audience whatsoever except for the crew people? I don't know how singers do it. It's just...I guess they already have the guts to actually publish their music and such.
Anyway, these are my thoughts and stuff. More later!

...I'M BACK!

What's up peeps!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while...Anyway, I've made a decision. I'm not going to bl0g only about music, but also random stuff. So, here goes!
Have you seen the new music video for Taylor Swift's songs, 'Mean', and the 'Story of Us'? Okay, I know it's still about music, but I tried, okay? Maybe you'll get even more random stuff later. Right now, I'm watching Taylor Swift's video for 'Mean'. I love it, and I think it's really good. I also think 'Mean' is a great song.
Right now, my favorite singer is Taylor Swift. I really love her songs, and I feel I can relate to a lot of them.
Coming out soon is Selena and the Scene's third album, When the Sun Goes Down. It comes out June 28th, 2011. The songs on the album include:

1. Love You Like a Love Song
2. Bang Bang Bang
3. Who Says
4. We Own the Night (feat. Pixie Lott)
5. Hit the Lights
6. Whiplash
7. When the Sun Goes Down
8. My Dilemma
9. That's More Like It (This song is co-written by Katy Perry!)
10. Outlaw
11. Middle of Nowhere
12. Dices (Who Says-Spanish Version)

I think it's cool how Katy Perry also helps write another song on Selena and the Scene's album? remember how she also helped write 'Rock God', which was featured on Selena and the Scene's second album, 'A Year Without Rain'.
Anyway, I tried to write about other stuff other than music, but plainly, music is my obsession. So put up with it. Please. ;]

I especially loved the comedy sketch, Making Babies Cry. It was kinda sad, but HILARIOUS. I think that Brandon Smith/Nico played the part very well, and it made it even funnier. Special guest stars on this show included Shaquille O'Neil, and Allstar Weekend! Allstar Weekend sang Come Down With Love, and Demi Lovato, who plays Sonny Munroe sang Work Of Art!
Well, more later peeps! :)
